OPFL Schedule Announcement

The OPFL is happy to announce the match up schedule for the 2017 inaugural season. The schedule is guaranteed to provide very competitive matchups throughout the year. The season will be based on two 6 team divisions with 8 games. This will give us 3 Cross Over weekends in week #1, #4, and #8. The OPFL will put emphasis on Divisional Games by weighting them at 3pts for a win and Cross over games will be 2 pts for a win. The playoffs will consist of 3 weeks with the top 4 from each division making it in. Playoff week 1 will see the #1 Seed vs #4 Seed while #2 will host #3. The 2nd Round will see Highest remaining seed hot lowest remaining seed to determine the Divisional Champion. The Divisions Champions will then travel to neutral site to compete for the inaugural OPFL Championship.

The schedule will see the all club teams competing together each weekend to create optimum club fan participation. The Schedule will also see all teams off for the Victoria Day weekend and also the weekend of July 8th. The July 8th bye week will enable Canada Cup participants to reduce the impact on their teams while at same time let families have nice week after the long weekend to enjoy some well-deserved family time.

Please look as the winter progresses for more precise Day and Time for all the games on the official OPFL Schedules on our Website.
